Chipping Norton Farm

We installed a 60kW solar PV system using three Solaredge inverters. The client wanted to reduce their energy costs by offsetting the power used for their poultry incubation equipment, grain dryer and other on-site farm services. This made solar an ideal solution to help stabilise their energy usage throughout the year.

One of the key considerations on this project was the roof structure. The cement fibre roof required additional GRP walkways to be installed to ensure the safety of the team during the installation process. This approach allowed us to carry out the work efficiently while protecting both the roof and our engineers.

The completed system now provides a substantial portion of the farm’s energy demand, helping to lower operating costs and improve long-term energy resilience.
